Session Descriptions
During the day we have Family Sessions: Great skating for the whole family...
- Expect young children and parents at the rink.

As the sun goes down the teens come out and we see more teens in the early evening, expect faster paced skating.

Night Sessions, Nights are fun at Horton Square. This session attracts adults willing to give ice skating a try and skate to fun music.

Group Information
A group of 10 or more:
$10 per person that includes rental skates.
Reservation only guarantees rate, not skates
based on that days demand.

Please specify what date and time, and approximately how many people there are for your group. Also, leave your name and phone number and best time for our representative to call you back. You only have a valid reservation if you receive a reservation number.

Dates we cannot reserve groups:

• Fridays and Saturdays between 7:30pm to 10pm
• Thanksgiving Day: The rink is closed.
• All day on December 23rd, and 24th.
• Christmas Eve: The rink closes early at 5:00pm
• Christmas Day: The rink is closed.
• New Year's Eve: The rink closes early at 5:00pm.
• All Day New Year's Day

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be purchased at the ticket window of the Ice Rink.
Available in $12 and $14 denominations.

Grand Opening

Thursday November 15, 2012 at 5pm

After the program, you and your family can kick-off the Fantasy On Ice skate season by skating for just $5 all evening long! This reduced price is for adults or children and includes the rental of one pair of or our new soft boot skates.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Wednesday November 28, 2012 at 7:30pm

On Wednesday, November 30 at 7:30pm NBC 7 San Diego will broadcast live from the ice rink, "Holidays on Horton Square". Immediataly following the show, come join us for skating under the stars from 8pm to 10pm.

 

Family Day

Sunday December 9, 1pm-4pm

This is a special opportunity to visit with Santa, Cat in the Hat and Curious George while enjoying food and holiday crafts (skating included).

Our Mission to Children's Hospital!
The mission is "to work in partnership with Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and to support its mission through: advocating for the health and well-being of children, increasing community awareness of Rady Children's Hospital, and fundraising". Team spirit, camaraderie, and fun can be found throughout the Auxiliary-wide events like Kids' News Day and Fantasy on Ice, "In this fiscal year 2008, as in past years, Fantasy on Ice has helped support many psychosocial programs and services offered through Children's Hematology/Oncology Care Center: the bereavement and Celebration of Life, Child Specialists, social workers, translators, the Registered nurse for the school reintegration programs.

Parking Information

There is parking available under the ice rink in the garage located at 225 Broadway.

• $5 ice rink valadation is good for 3 hours in garage @225 Broadway

Monday thru Saturday:
- Parking meters are free after 6pm.

Sundays
- Parking meters are free all day.

Buses:
Drivers can drop off their groups around Broadway Circle; in from of Macy's.
(Closest to the main entrance of the ice rink.)
